can i take darvocet with 2 soma and 2 xanax .25mg? i have a headache and having an anxiety attack so i took 2 soma and 1 xanax 0.25mg so can i take a darvocet

candy11 replied: "You would need to call your doctor about this, because this could be too much medication at one time."

Is it Ok to take soma and felxerill at the same time? Instead of taking 2 somas I would like to add 1 flexerill with 1 soma to really stop these spams. I cant believe this would be a dangerous combo but has any one had any experience in taking both. Too late...didnt do a dam thing. See niether dug ever had any effect on me. I have this same problem with Benzos, I am the only one who can take 15mg of valium and it not do anything and thats with out a tolerance. I cant believe they say somas are addicting since they dont do anything. If they did I could understand but my theory is that any medication that actually works they consider addicting. May be habit forming should be replaced with may actually work LOL

Mandy S replied: "You would be safer calling your doctor and/or pharmacist with this question. I wouldn't take the advice of people on here, even if under "sources" they put "I've been a doctor for 35 years". There is no way to test that out. Call your doctor or pharmacist. They could tell you it would be okay. If they tell you it wouldn't be okay, you should probably listen to them."

p_barnwell_jr replied: "I doubt it...I've taken Flexeril (just 1 little tiny pill) and it really put me in a funk and almost made me feel debilitated ...I wouldn't wanna try taken anything else with that..."

Jewel replied: "DO NOT m,ix muscle relaxtors, and NEVER take more than 2 Soma at one time. This can cause blackouts where you become very mean and you don't know what you are doing. Soma is a VERY powerful muscle relaxant. Flexoril on the other hand is not, and you can take up to 3 10mg pills at one time and be ok. But as I said DO NOT EVER mix muscle relaxtors, the Soma & Flexoril each work differently. Also NEVER MIX narcodics."

Reva P replied: "They do the same job. Speak to your pharmacist and then your doctor, for the time being. Then, make an appt to see your doctor and discuss this problem (I know this one, first hand, and I more than sympathize). It there are other things that might be more effective for you, alone or in combination. When you do, ask about Botox injections. Yes, I said and I mean Botox. That same stuff that women use to look younger than their own daughters was originally developed and used for muscle spasms, particularly the laryngeal spasms that can be a part of MS. But it's also useful for spasms of larger muscles and muscle groups, too."

Crystal P replied: "I took Soma and Flexerill together for 2 years for my FMS. Recently; my pain doctor took me off Flexerill and up my Soma. I always took my Flexerill at night because it help with sleeping. I take Soma 3 times daily."

1 somaand 2 xanax??? make you feel high? I was with a friend last night who after being upstairs for a bit came down and said he felt high... he said he had taken 2 xanax, (.5 each) and 1 soma... would this cause high feelings or would it be something else?

nursechic64 replied: "Yes it would make you feel "high""

My friend took 3 1/2 pills of E 2 days ago and she has been nausious and hasn't been able to sleep much, E.R? So she weighs about 130lbs and I wonder what she can do to help herself get better? Or should she go the E.R. Or could she just take a soma to get a good nights sleep since she has only slept like 15hrs in the last couple of days

Dagobot replied: "Wow, 3 and 1/2 pills sounds like a lot for a 130 pound gilr. If she is so nauseated that she can not hold down fluids, i would most definitely go to the ER and get some IV fluids, that E will overheat a person and fry their kidneys if they can't get enough fluids, not to mention the fever will fry their brains. I would take her. Also, i would tell her to stop being stupid and stop using Exstasy"

I am on Vicodin and Soma for back pain....? I took 2 vicodin and 1 soma and 2 hours later a tylenol 3...what will the effects be? Please help soon...I am already feeling reeeealy good and sedated...Am I ok to go to sleep? It was dumb I know but i had a BAD day...kids are all away and I want relaxing...well I feel drunk and WAYYYY relaxed....

DynodiKk replied: "That's SOOOOOOOMMMMMMAAAAAAAAA for you, A drug that makes you feel sedated."

dizzyA replied: "The really good feeling is the vicodin most likely, you must have an extremely low tolerance, and the tylenol 3. The sedated feeling is the soma, it's a pretty strong muscle relaxant, and the others are opioid pain relievers, that'll give you euphoric effects. You're fine to go to sleep, drowsiness is a side effect, and unless you're having respiratory problems, you're golden"

Question about my thoracic spine. Had 2 MRI's, both showed disc bulge at C-7 & T-1. What to do now? Drs. tried several modalities. Epidural inj. (2), All types of meds., PT, Chiro, Massage, etc. for over 1 1/2 yrs., to no avail. Still suffering with ext. chronic pain. Stopped all narc.pain meds. Now taking soma and Lyrica. My daily life is greatly effected due to the pain levels. I don't know where else to turn for help. Neuro. says that is not an operational area, which is great. I had surg. in 2002 at C-4 & 5. I was great for 2 yrs. then in 2004, this mid back pain came on strong. It is a radiating pain down both arms, it wraps all the way around my middle, into my chest/diaphram. Ice helps a bit. Sitting makes it worse. It wakes me up at night. It is hard to find a comfy position. My arms/hands go numb when in use. Please give me some direction, where to go for help. email;

wretched spawn replied: "Your Answer: Sorry to hear all this, I am a Fitness Proffesional so i have no medical backround, although i did and still do suffer from a disc bulge at C7 which is commpressing my spinal cord by 30 - 40% luckily not hindering its capabilities i got stiffed with that you got the bulge pushing on nervers by the sounds of it. I was having chronic pain as you described minus the numbness and pain around the chest area... I am happy to say i am now pain free, I am only 22 and it as looking bad the last 3 years the pain got worse and worse noy knowing what the problem was until 10 months ago got an MRI scan... I went a nuerosurgeon and he was awesome most of them arent but this guy is amazing he told me everything i could and couldnt do and ever since then i have been pain free... If you are an Aussie from Melbourne or close by i can give you this guys name and contact details... But yeah once i found out the movements i could and could not do i was fine had to give up contact sports, and make sure i stopped my neck from forced extension and flexion (looking up and looking down)... This is how your disk works, think of it as a jam donut harder layer on the outside and jam in the middle and all we both did was squeez to hard and jam came out unfortunate for you that yours is obviously pushing on a nerve hense tingling and numbness in arms... He also explained to me that rest and performing certain movements will help this bulge go back in, think of your bulge like this every week or day without pain means its trying to heal so each day its wraps itself with cling wrap slowly getting thicker and thicker and what i and looks like yourself where or are doing was getting a layer or 2 and performing the wrong movement and going back to squar one, i am now and haqve been pain free for 8 months due to a weights program focusing on strengthing around the bulge swimming and knowing my limits... All in all you just need to find your limits which in C7 would be the same as me no forced flexion and extension, strengthen the area if you came to my gym i could help you... I really reccomend swimming this is a must! Source(s): Well this probebly didnt help but this is how it went with me, it is possible for surgery in that area i have been told so by my nuerosurgeon its just the last resort and for surgery there it MUST be done by the best... It waas lookingn bad for me until i found all the specialist i went to id reccomend a new nuerosurgeon... Good luck"

imklo928 replied: "try an actipatch...it sounds like you have alot of pain and this has been successful in treating other peoples back pain...check out (Canadian site) and (US Site). The device last 720 hours - or 30 continuous days so its not a bad deal on a per hour basis. I hope this can help you. Here is a snippet from a customer "by using your patch, I have been able to have a total of 2 pain-free days in the past three years. I have been relying on the use of Percocet and a ‘morphine-like’ patch to help with my continuous upper-back pain. Even with these two powerful medications, I have not been able to achieve total relief for any length of time. The ActiPatch takes away the pain quickly and completely for as long as I wear it""

divaling replied: "I would suggest a physical therapist who is certified in the "McKenzie Method". It uses a series of extension exercise to help the disc move back to its proper position. I have referred people to many and most have had great results. It could not hurt to try. Of course you would need a prescription again for therapy from your doctor. You can look up a certified therapist by going to and choose the course/therapist locator at the top of the page for your state and area. Good luck and hope this helps"

how can i get myself off of my meds im addicted to without going to rehab? i don't do anything illegal but i do have a problem with rx pills. they are starting to cause problems with my marriage. on an average day, i take.. morning... 4 ty pm and 2 somas night... 4 ty pm 2 somas 1 seraquil 1 topamax 1 ambien i need to get off of these things. help me please!

Lily replied: "First and foremost, go to a doctor. They can help you figure out how exactly how to go about getting off the medications. Some are really best not to stop entirely [meaning, they'd wean you off it], while some are best to stop cold turkey. Obviously, there will probably be withdrawal symptoms either way. The best thing may actually be rehab - maybe not inpatient rehab [though it may have to come to that] You could try out-patient therapy or something of the sort, and definitely make sure that you have people there to support you, as well as to make sure that your withdrawal symptoms don't get the better of you. Inpatient rehab is nothing to be ashamed of though - it shows that you're trying to get better, and that you're putting the effort in. The best thing about being an inpatient in rehab is that you'd pretty much have 24/7 help to fight this addiction, and they could help you immediately if any problems arrive. Therapy could also help with said problems in your marriage, and help the both of you to get back on track."

All-One replied: "The real problem for you is getting the drugs out of your system. Detox. Read your other questions and would not think a detox facility is not a option for you. You have a husband and small children. So you are going to have to go "cold turkey". Once again however, because I read your other questions, I don't think that drugs are you problem they are just symptomatic of other issues you are dealing with. My suggestion is that you see a therapist and work thought those issues. If you don't the problems is only going to worse in the future."

Are soma and vicodin and klonipin okay to take together? I take klonapin daily, I have prescriptions for all three , the vicoden and soma say take 1-2 as needed . I feel like I need all 3 for today and I am in agony but but do not want to be stupid. * 27 minutes ago * - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details I am not drinking , it just seems like a lot. I have been on the klonapin for years, the soma and vociden are related to a back injury I take care of myself. The doctor prescribed these medications, I am just not sure if am being paranoid because I can not sleep due to the pain. I am hurting , I weigh about 135. I understand you are not doctors but know some of you must take these.

cmsturrock replied: "I looked it up on drugs.com and the link to what I found is below. It's not simple. Looks like it'll make you sleep. If you got the scrips from the same doctor or told the second doctor all you were taking, and filled them all at the same pharmacy, they will be OK together."

Nala7 replied: "If your doctor knows what meds you are on, he will not give you anything that is not ok together. Trust your doctors."

lily replied: "I'd be hesitant myself. Mixing drugs is rather scary considering the number of deaths that have been in the news in recent years caused by an improper combination of prescribed drugs. I'd call my pharmacist or if its closed a local pharmacist that is open 24 hours to ask about those 3 drugs at the same time. A pharmacist should be better qualified than random strangers, and most communities have at least one all night pharmacy open. Other options is see if your local hospital has an all night pharmacist that can answer your question. Or see if there is an ask a nurse hotline in your area. Doctors are so rushed these days and sometimes overlook things in their charts, so I wouldn't assume the doctor has remembered everthing he's prescribed you unless you specifically brought it up to him. Doctors are people and can make unintentional mistakes by overlooking chart details, especially when they are rushed to see so many patients in one day."
